Rising Sun, Forbury Road, Reading

© March 05, 2011 by Harry

It was a real honour to play at the re-opening of the Rising Sun Pub in Reading last night.  It was by far one of the greatest atmospheres we have played to.  People were dancing in the first half let alone the second!  To play infront of a crowd so large and so fun was mind blowing.  I think the band connected with what the crowd were doing last night which pushed us to play even better. I would happily go back and play at this venue anytime!!

Thank you to the Rising Sun and our new friends.   Harry

Huge thanks to Ciaran and the team for a superb welcome - really good night - hope to be back soon!

It was a pleasure to perform at the Pangbourne WMC in aid of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity. Thanks especially to Mary for organising the event, and to the PWMC team for their hospitality!

The Generaters played as part of the Battle of the School Bands semifinal. Super night - venue was packed - well done to all the bands, high standard from everyone. Special thanks to Pete Doyle (Reading Rock Academy), Colin Williams (Pangbourne Hall of Sound), and our very own Rog and Harry Wilkinson for managing the stage and equipment!

2 days later, at the Red Lion - READING ROCKS!! Great atmosphere, great hospitality from Anita and the team, new numbers well received. Proper music venue - we'll be back (we hope)! Thanks again to all our supporters.
