The Red Lion, Good Friday Gig

© April 10, 2012 by Amy

The Red Lion was red hot when we played there on Good Friday!  This is personally one of my favourite venues to play at as it consistently has a live and exciting atmosphere.  The minute we got there people were ready to hear some music and more importantly ready to get their dancing shoes on!

I loved this gig and would like to thank every single person who came out especially to see us, including our Hosts The Red Lion.  What a brilliant night it was!

Reading Half Marathon

© April 01, 2012 by Amy

Leaving the house at half five this morning at minus one degrees was not a fantastic start, but what a day it turned out to be.  Reading Half Marathon is always a great event and this year again we were not disappointed.  We were asked to play this time right by the front of the Mad Stad and I must say we could not be happier.  The sun shone and the runners were a pleasure as always to play for.  Watching ordinary people (not forgetting the professionals) running for such worthwhile causes is always emotional and we salute one and all.  Every person there today deserved our support.  A special mention to the man in the Mankini who actually managed to put Amy off her song and of course those that dressed up in costumes, it must have made that equally hard.

As always the crowd got behind the runners and requests were flying in...... keep on running seems to be a firm favourite..... can't imagine why!
